CHOICES

When we’re starved creatively and emotionally, it’s a sign to consider revolutionizing our mindsets, approach, and ways of being on a daily basis. There is something amazing to be discovered in the pure corners of our soul, when we go on the explore the inner world given to us as humans. In times we connect to our powerful intuition, we experience something amazing.

THE MOST IMPORTANT GOAL

Over the last three years or so, I’ve made an unwritten, unspoken, not even well thought out goal. I felt one goal forming in my heart: to keep my soul fed, to fill it all the way up, to the brim.
I always felt I have so much to give but was never aware that I’m worthy or that I should honor myself. When I had my children, and when I lost my sister to a car accident, I felt in a very distinct way that our life is *precious*. That life can be bigger than we imagine. That which is greater than ourselves gave us the ability to offer the world the full expression of who we are.
Our job is to honor our full being. We’re the lucky ones, we’re still here. Our true commitment is to be the highest, truest expression of who we are. We’re all the same, we all want to be what we truly are. Our goal is to know who we are.

MY BIGGEST FEAR

Sometimes the best way to get clarity is to acknowledge our biggest fears, by simply writing them down. For me, it usually sounds the same, a plain old “I will fail/it will never work”. It’s interesting that this simple exercise reveals not only that fears are always in the background, but also that the real barriers are a lot more powerful and well disguised than simple, recognizable fears. They are, for me, and for many of the people I’ve interviewed over the years - 1) tendency to stick with the socially desired path, the “culture” I’m part of; 2) lack of creativity, low balling my own dreams; 3) boredom and impatience. What’s the opposite of freedom, of being a hero? It’s becoming a victim waiting to be saved. What’s also interesting, is that when we fear taking the step toward something we desire deeply, we don’t recognize what’s truly in our best interest.
