MOMS DEMAND ACTION

Sending love to the moms of Parkland high school students who passed a year ago, one of the many school shooting tragedies. Sending love to the surviving students the same age as my own big baby, will never be the same. Listening to them be interviewed by #thedailypodcast a year later is to sad and so empowering at the same time.

Those students and any of us who survived the death of a loved one, know what it’s like to rebound from darkness and to acknowledge deep pain and deep happiness cohabiting with our soul. At the same time. I’ve never experienced such deep pain and spiritual connection and happiness before my sister’s accident. It’s what made me dig deep and examine who I am and why am I here.

From there on, life was never casual or lived on autopilot. From that day, I became conscious and crystal clear of the miraculous gift of life. That in my sister’s honor I would never take for granted that I’m here now, that I need to live fully while I’m still here. That she would want me to not waste any day any longer. Sending love and strength to all those who experienced tragedy. I know that every single one of them relates and honors their own life in renewed way. Sending strength to all @momsdemand action
