THANK YOU (for embracing YOUR gifts)
Had a beautiful walk with my big girl and our pup at the beach yesterday. We listened to @spaceykacey whom we both love, and reflected on how we’re so grateful for her music. .
I said that it’s an interesting thing that we’re grateful for other people’s creations. I believe that we’re all her to liberate ourselves and embrace our gifts and bring them out into the world. I’m doing so, we fulfill our purpose(s) and we’re ecstatic and content and the world is grateful for our efforts. She said - think if the Beatles gave up because their egos got in the way, or because it seemed like they were too young and too inexperienced? Or Taylor Swift? Or Lizzo? What a loss would it have been if we didn’t hear their music. .
I pUblished an article recently (see link in profile) which made me very proud - I talked about something I believe very deeply in: that each disadvantage has an advantage. I heard from some my best friends who read the article, who said the article moved them. One of them said “thank you for writing this”. I realized that this was my own gift that I’ve distilled into words and put it out there for others who might be inspired by it to follow their own Path. There is no bigger joy than seeing that someone sees and resonates with something we create. .
It made me wonder: what is the thing that if my daughter did, she would thrive & the world would be thankful for? We both agreed it had something to do with music (she LOVES playing music). .
I wonder - what is that one thing for YOU? The thing that if you did you’d thrive and we’ll THANK YOU for? And - this is the big ask - WILL YOU DO IT? For yourself, for us? We need you to bring out your gifts. We’ll be so grateful if you do it ♥️
